V-Form Extended Surface Panel Filters

Construction :

V–Form filters are Type 1, Class A, dry disposable extended surface panel filters, which offer economical, intermediate efficiency and meet the requirements of AS1668.2, where the filter has an initial efficiency of not less than 20% to AS1324 No. 1 Test. The V–Form filter has three main components – The channel frame, wire media support frame, and filter media. The filter media is manufactured from a blend of synthetic fibres, which do not support combustion. The channel frame is usually galvanised steel but can be manufactured from either Aluminium or Stainless Steel. The filter media is pleated in a V–form configuration to provide a lower resistance and higher capacity to that of a flat panel filter, ensuring extended surface life. The V–Form filters may be mounted into holding frames in a bank of filters, or they can be used for side withdrawal from channel slides fitted inside ductwork. With the washable type of V-Form filter, the filter may be cleaned by simply back rinsing with cold water, or the media can be replaced with new disposable media. The disposable media is a dry media. No gel or oil is applied

Filter Media

V-Form filters are available with standard G4 rated disposable type media. Higher efficiency filter media is also available on request.

Applications

Due to its low cost and extended service life, the filter is suited to a wide range of applications including general air conditioning and ventilation systems, process air systems, industrial applications and as a pre filtration to higher efficiency filters.
